Three of its singles charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including a No. It took over 12 years for the album to do another million and hit the diamond milestone, no doubt assisted by the RIAA's recent changes to its award methodology to factor in both track streams and album streams viaĬountry Grammar hit the top of the Billboard 200 album chart in August of 2000, marking the first of three of his albums to reach No. The beats are boring and just poorly aged in general. However unlike Nellyville, those songs are significantly worse. Although it is diamond+, this album, similarily to Nellyville doesnt offer anythiing outside of the features. Nelly's last RIAA plaque for Country Grammar came in 2004, when the album crossed the sales threshold of nine million units. Country Grammar is full of a young Nelly who doesnt have any weight to his delivery, lyrics, or beats. No stranger to RIAA awards, Nelly has amassed 13 gold and platinum certifications for his singles, including Country Grammar cuts "Ride Wit Me" and the title track. Counting the double-album Sweatsuit and the respective individual releases of Sweat and Suit, seven of his full-length releases have gone at least gold. While not quite diamond, 2002's Nellyville went platinum six times over.
